Options for joining our Network include as a partner or as an affiliate:
Partner. You could partner with UK Veterans Gaming, putting up adverts in our discord and looking for activities with mutual benefit;
Affiliate. You could affiliate with UK Veterans Gaming, becoming part of our Network. This is a great option for organisation's veterans networks, and gaming networks supporting veterans. Affiliation not only increases the number of gamers you can reach but will also give you:
A Dedicated channel in our discord
A Role in our discord to allow messaging of your members
Posts of your discord/website link to our members links channels
Active support advertising your activity through our routine community posts and advertising
Recruitment opportunities of our members to your gaming group, charity events and or jobs if they are eligible
Charities
Whenever you get more than 3 veterans in a room – whether live or online – they will start dreaming up ways to raise money for charity. To support and enable this activity, UK Veterans Gaming C.I.C. has listed 16 UK and US charities as asset locks which means the C.I.C. regulator has endorsed us giving money to them.
UK Veterans Gaming is primarily looking to support online funding via Twitch or other streaming services and since its launch in 2023 has undertaken stream-a-thons for our supported charities as well as other charity events organised by our members.
Supported Charities
RAF Benevolent Fund is our first official sponsor and our focus for 2026 fundraising. We are planning a Stream-a-thon as we approach the end of the year.
Veterans Aid has been battling homelessness among the ex-service community and was the beneficiary of the UK Veterans Gaming’s first Twitch fundraiser in 2023 which was run in tandem with Skål Esports.
Walking With The Wounded empowers veterans by reigniting their sense of purpose, enabling them to make a positive contribution to their communities and lead independent lives. Walking with the Wounded has been using gaming for fundraising for several years and UK Veterans Gaming provided 7 hours of a 24-hour fundraising event as part of the Walking Home for Christmas campaign in 2023.
UK Veterans Gaming was pleased to provide education on esports and esports-related fundraising to the team at The Not Forgotten, and we are looking forward to supporting a fundraising event for them soon.
Combat Stress helps veterans deal with issues like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression. Combat Stress has been engaged with gaming for several years to support fundraising - one of the UK Veterans Gaming players completed a Great North Row for charity after injuring himself in the run up to the Great North Run. The UVG’s Christmas stream-a-thon in 2024 lasted 36 hours after extending hourly from 12 hours based on funds raised for Combat Stress.
The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity supports sailors and marines, both serving and veteran, full-time and reservist, as well as their families. UK Veterans Gaming is grateful for the publicity provided by the RNRMC during our initial launch in September 2023.
