League Of Legends
A 5-player Multi-Online Battle Arena (MOBA). League of Legends (LoL) is an official UK Defence sport.
UK Veterans Gaming:
- Placed 2nd in British Army Electronic League event (2024)
- Placed 2nd of 10 in British Army Electronic League event qualifiers (2025) and 4th overall in the Knockout stage.
- Is a Founder Member of UK Defence Masters League
A 3-player football match with cars fitted with rocket packs. Rocket League (RL) is an official UK Defence sport.
UK Veterans Gaming:
- UVG supported RAF 4th Team at Enclave 1 – Winners
- UVG Rocket League Team placed 9th in the inaugural BFBS Pro League (2025)
A 4-player first person shooter played in several different rule-sets including Call-of Duty League (CDL) and Warzone. Call-of-Duty (COD) is an official UK Defence Sport.
UK Veterans Gaming:
-Has fielded up to 2 teams since 2023.
-Competed in World Military Esports League in 2024.
-UVG Ravens is competing in the inaugural UK Defence Masters League
A single-player race but often competed in teams of up to 4. Sim Racing has several elements including Formula 1 which is an official UK Defence Sport, and iRacing which is a supported activity through RAF Motorsports Association.
UK Veterans Gaming primarily raced in the Armed Forces Virtual Race Challenge (AFVRC) in 2025 using iRacing.
- AFVRC Season 5 (2025) - 5 entries (26 total), 10 races, best player placed 2nd
- 2025 Race into Summer – 1 entry (3 total), 12 races, placed 1st
- 2025 GT3 Cup – 3 entries (21 total), 12 races, placed 4th
Also planning entry into Sampsoid, a UK grassroots community league.
Future Competitive Teams
In addition to these active teams, UK Veterans Gaming is seeking players for Valorant, Apex Legends and is open to discussion about other games if veteran gamers wish to to compete.
